The British Colostomy Association is the national registered charity which represents the interests of people with a colostomy and which provides support, reassurance and practical information to ostomates and anyone who is about to have a colostomy
ia - the Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Support Group is a UK registered charity whose primary aim is to help people who have to undergo surgery which involves the removal of their colon (colectomy) and the creation of either an ileostomy or an ileo-anal pouch. The Urostomy Association of Great Britain and Ireland was formed in 1971 as the Urinary Conduit Association to help people who are about to undergo or have undergone surgery resulting in diversion of the urinary stream.
NACC (National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease) - for sufferers of ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
IOA (International Ostomy Association) - the international organization for ostomy support groups all over the world.
